FAQ from parents: What Christian resources are out there that can help me with parenting?

Hey my name is David Bellamy but you can call me Dave. I have been involved with St. John's Lutheran Church since 1999. I have been the Youth Director since June of 2002 and I even attended the youth group with my wife, then girlfriend, when we were in high school (weird huh).

I married my high school sweet heart, Nancy, 6 yrs ago and we don't have any kids yet but I figure that between the students in the student ministry and her being the Preschool Director at the church preschool, we have enough kids to worry about right now.

We love working with the middle and high school students, taking them on trips or just hanging out with them. So if you are ever around I would love to talk with you and get to know you. My contact information can . . . well you guessed it, is on the "contact" page of this fine website. See ya soon!

FAQ by the parents: Who are the adults that are with my kids?

That's a great question. We have a very good process that we use to keep the kids safe. Each adult leader that would like to help out goes through a application process so we can get to know them. Once that takes place we do a background check on them. This is done to ensure that our kids are protected as well as taken care of in the best way possible.

FAQ by parents and students: When are you available to talk?

I am in my office pretty much everyday till late afternoon, except on the weekends. Despite the occasional meeting every now and then, I am hear to talk if you need to, hey we can even do lunch. I am very approachable so if you ever need to meet with me just give me a call or email me. My number/email you can reach me at is on the contact page.

FAQ by parents and students: What are you teaching right now?

Right now the youth group has taking a brake for the summer. However we will be having events planned during the summer. Your can go to the events page for more information or...
